Found quite a useful page on the Politics website this morning. They have grouped the policies of each of the three main parties on specific areas together for your comparison. Nifty. It beats downloading and reading each of the manifesto documents. Blogging the UK Poli-conf season

With the RNC and the DNC being blogged both from the floor and by corporate bandwidth whores and used as sources of discussion here in the UK, I’d have thought that we would have had a few bloggers for the current silly season here within our own shores. But alas, no. While 37 independent bloggers received press passes for the US Democrat convention, the Liberal Democrat Press Office reports that they have received no enquiries from bloggers....

Jody Dunn’s Campaign Diary

Today I extend my congratualtions and a big welcome to the blogging community to Jody Dunn, Liberal Democrate candidate in the (maybe) Hartlepool by-election. Where did they get the idea for this from?

The House to Home exhibition organised by the Hansard Society at Westminster Hall yeilded some interesting - although hardly suprising given voter turnout figures - feedback from its 45,000 visitors. More than 80% of respondents felt excluded by Westminster politics. I had a poke around the online version of the exhibition. From the site you can create your own banner and send it someone as an e-card. Here’s one from me....
