I should be I should be writing about Appadurai’s theory of globalisation, but I wanted to write about the student staff forum meeting I attended today more… The program monitoring program at goldsmiths has recently changed to a new model. This arrangement uses online tools to compliment the traditional Course Rep role to set an agenda for a number of meetings over the course of the college year between the academic staff and the students. As a Program Monitoring Rep I was at the first of the meetings today. There was an agenda. These are my reflections on that meeting. Disclaimer. I would probably say all of the following again. Phew! Completed the text, committed to my repository, created a PDF, printed the output. Attached… Dissertation Research Proposal{#p304} (for those with too much time on their hands.) I should get 5 spare minutes now to make public my repository and publish other essays and notes from previous study years.

making my essays look really hot

(even if the content could do with some more work…) I’ve not used TeX for several months… getting to grips with it again today has reminded me of the value of practice in developing a skill. Thankfully I still had all my outline templates from earlier in the year so I had a skeleton to work from. I am using a basic article template with Helvetica font. My references use the Harvard family of bibliographic styles....

research proposal for my politics degree

This year I get to write a dissertation for my degree course. I’m going to blog the development of my focus of study and my argument here and use my wiki and other tools to share resources I’ve found useful.
