Teather Opens Erin Court

Sarah cut the ribbon (I assume; no photo of this) on Erin Court on Friday 3rd. Developed by Sutherland Housing Association, Erin Court provides housing for key workers from Brent specifically education and NHS workers.

And I’m a big fan of the Pay-As-You-Drive carshare scheme too. More of these please! Anything that works to reduce the level of cars on London’s roads gets my vote!

Liberal Democrats launch their Pension Policy - Dignity and Security in Retirement

Charles Kennedy launched the Lib Dem’s Pension Policy last week. Writing in the Asian Voice, Sarah describes how the policy would “lift 1 million pensioners out of means-tested benefits, which many find complex and intrusive, and which nearly 2 million pensioners do not claim at all despite being entitled to them.”

Queen’s Park Day

I bumped into Sarah at Queen’s Park Day last Sunday where I was promoting the Queen’s Park Wireless Club.
